Insight Health System has agreed to pay $5.1 million to resolve a federal lawsuit involving approximately 800 union workers released as part of Insight’s mass layoffs in March 2025. The Michigan-based healthcare provider’s initial payment of $1.5 million into a settlement fund will be made Dec. 31. Twelve payments of $300,000 each will occur through Dec. 31, 2029. WARREN — Trumbull County commissioners passed a resolution Wednesday providing additional money to 10 county departments in an effort to bolster their budgets in hopes of enabling them to finish the year. WARREN — A woman serving a 15-years-to-life prison sentence for the rape of an 8-month-old girl captured on her own cellphone will have to wait 10 years for another shot at parole. Felicia Banks Beemer, 36, has been denied parole and must remain in prison for at least 10 more years, according to the Trumbull County Prosecutor’s Office.
