The Ohio Supreme Court dismissed Trumbull County Domestic Relations/Juvenile Division Judge David L. Engler’s lawsuit seeking to stop abortions in the state. The court ruled 7-0 Wednesday in favor of the state, which filed to dismiss the case. The court dismissed the case without explanation. Data center company will meet with McDonald officials

McDONALD — A company interested in possibly locating a data center in the village will meet with members of council, the administration and the public next month. Mayor Ray Lewis on Wednesday told a crowd of more than 75 people who gathered at the village community room that officials with Oppidan will address the public at a meeting Sept. 15 at McDonald High School. SCOPE centers halt cash prizes for bingo

WARREN — Trumbull County’s eight SCOPE centers have temporarily stopped providing cash prizes as its leaders determine the best ways for the individual centers to handle money.
