Niles approves sale, trade of police vehicles

NILES — The city will gain value from vehicles no longer used by its law enforcement, thanks to deals with two townships. As part of their consent agenda Wednesday, city officials approved an ordinance authorizing the sale of two decommissioned police cruisers to Champion Township, and declared it an emergency action.
