Warren City Council to discuss Flock cameras

WARREN — In addition to Warren City Council approving a one-year moratorium on data centers at Wednesday’s meeting, another hot-button item was briefly discussed — Flock cameras. Flock cameras use Automated License Plate Recognition technology manufactured and are distributed by the Atlanta-based company Flock Safety. The cameras typically are mounted on roadside poles and record license plate numbers of millions of vehicles and report them to subscribing police departments and homeowner associations. Nelly Covelli show postponed

Nelly won’t be heating up the Covelli Centre until December. Sunday’s concert at the Youngstown arena is postponed due to "unforeseen circumstances,” according to venue operator JAC Management. The new date is Dec. 11. All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new date. For those unable to attend in December, refunds will be available through the original point of purchase until Oct. 10.
