WARREN — The Trumbull County coroner has ruled that 22 people died from accidental drug overdoses since Jan. 1, according to data released Friday from his office. The last death he ruled on was June 28. Most of the deceased had more than one drug in their system when they died, while others had heroin or fentanyl in their systems. Last year, 57 died from accidental drug overdoses from January through June. A total of 135 died last year in Trumbull County from accidental drug overdoses.

WARREN — A Warren Municipal Court judge is asking city council to support his effort to make addiction-suppressing medications a part of a substance user’s probation by creating a new position in the court.
