Seeing Eye: Programs planned at Mosquito Lake

UPCOMING MOSQUITO LAKE PROGRAMS: Mosquito Lake State Park will host various naturalist programs for the Labor Day weekend. On Saturday, there will be stand-up paddleboarding from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the marina. Participants must be age 12 or older. Check availability at 330-638-5700. This past month has been filled with so many wonderful opportunities to share our love and passion for farming and to give consumers a small glimpse into what it takes to raise and care for crops and animals. Overcoming the stigma of overdoses

OVERDOSE AWARENESS DAY: Overdose Awareness Day brings a community together to raise awareness of overdoses, reduce the stigma of drug-related deaths, and acknowledge the grief felt by families and friends. Last year, a collaboration with the Trumbull County Mental Health and Recovery Board and its Alliance for Substance Abuse Prevention coalition set up 25 locations throughout the county and distributed more than 1,500 naloxone (drug overdose medication) kits.
