As I was sitting down to write this article, staring out at the snow-covered fields by my house, this adage crossed my mind: “If you choose not to find joy in the snow, you will have less joy in your life, but still the same amount of snow.” I have no idea who came up with this quote, but man, are they right, especially this year. Library to help get kids school ready
KINDERGARTEN EVENT: A Bridge to Kindergarten Transition Fair will take place 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Warren Trumbull County Public Library, 444 Mahoning Ave. NW, Warren. The free event is open to Trumbull County children entering kindergarten in fall 2026. Displays will show how to prepare a child for kindergarten. There will prizes and giveaways.
