NEW YEAR’S EVE SERVICES: Local churches will host New Year’s Eve services on Wednesday.

Friendship Baptist Church, 1954 Brier St. SE. Warren, will have a New Year’s Eve worship celebration at 5 p.m. Wednesday. Agape Assembly Church, 426 Nevada Ave., Warren, will have a New Year’s Eve service at 10 p.m. Wednesday.

TEEN EVENTS: The Girard Free Library will offer Teen Anime Club at 5:30 p.m. today where teens can watch an anime show with friends and sample Asian snacks.

Teens also can enjoy Monopoly at 2 p,m. Tuesday. To register, call 330-545-2508.

GIANT CANDYLAND: The Newton Falls Library will host a giant Candyland for children ages 3 to 12 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday. Children can travel through the giant game board, scooping up treats as they go. The library will close early at 5 p.m. Wednesday for New Year’s Eve.
