PARK DEDICATION: The Roosevelt Area Neighborhood group, Councilman Andrew Herman, D-2nd Ward, and Tina S. Milner, 2nd Ward councilwoman-elect, will host a dedication ceremony at 4 p.m. Friday of the North End Memorial Rose Garden at the corner of Roosevelt Street NW and Vernon Avenue NW.
HISTORICAL SOCIETY OPEN HOUSE: The Howland Historical Society will host an open house 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Yellow House, 8702 South St. SE, Howland. Parking is in front of Howland Middle School. Admission is free.
HOLIDAY TREE LIGHTING: Bristol Township will host its holiday tree lighting and parade at 5:15 p.m. Saturday at the township center.
