Mobile health unit to stop by grocery store

WELLNESS ON WHEELS: The Warren City Health District Wellness on Wheels mobile health unit will be onsite 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at Jamestown Giant Eagle, 2700 Mahoning Ave. NW, Warren.
CRAFT SHOW: The Helping Hands Craft Show at Howland Community Church, 198 Niles Cortland Road SE, Howland, is 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Up to 30 vendors will be there and each one will donate a raffle item. There will be a door prize and a 50 / 50 raffle. The kitchen will be open with freshly made lunch and dessert. There also will be a bake sale. The show supports the Client Choice Pantry, Free Fellowship Meal, Operation Shoeleather and other mission projects.
TRUMBULL MOBILE MARKET: The Trumbull Mobile Market will be at the McKinley Memorial Library 12:30 to 2 p.m. today to offer fresh, nutritious produce and goods. The public event is for anyone 18 and older in Trumbull County.
FOOD FOR FINES: The Girard Free Library is offering Food for Fines through Nov. 25. The library will waive up to $25 in fines when patrons donate at least two non-perishable food items.
The library will accept donations of nonperishable food in jars, cans and sealed packets. Recommended items are canned soups, canned vegetables, jelly and ramen noodles, but everything is needed.
Donations will go to the Emmanuel Community Care Center.
Food for Fines does not apply to replacement fees for lost or damaged items or overdue fines from other CLEVNET libraries.
STATE TREASURER TO SPEAK: The Trumbull County Educational Service Center will welcome State treasurer Robert Sprague 11:45 a.m. Friday at DiVieste Banquet Center in Warren as the keynote speaker at the annual Civic Day. The TCESC hosts the program, which pairs high school seniors with local elected officials, law enforcement and business executives for job shadowing.
HOLIDAY IN THE PINES: Big Oak Meadows, 7266 Hayes Orangeville Road in Burghill, will host”Holiday in the Pines” 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The event will include Santa and Mrs. Claus, musical performances, caroling and food trailers.
