OAKWOOD AFTER DARK: The Trumbull County Historical Society, in partnership with the Oakwood Cemetery Association, will host a Halloween night walk at 7 p.m. Friday at Oakwood Cemetery, 860 Niles Road SE, Warren, starting at the gatehouse at 7 p.m. The tour will be a walk through hallowed grounds. CRAFT SHOW: The Ladies Aide of McKinley Community Church, 1524 Elm Road NE, Warren, will host a craft show and church tour from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. There will be vendors and a basket raffle. Baked goods and food will be available for sale 11 a.m. to 2 p.m..

BOOK SALE: The fall book sale at Kinsman Free Public Library will start 9 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Saturday at the library, 6420 Church St., Kinsman. The sale continues 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Monday; 10 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. Tuesday (half price); 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Nov. 5 ($5 a bag); and 10 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. Nov. 6 (free). The library will not be accepting book donations for the sale.

NEIGHBORHOOD MEETING: The Northwest Neighborhood Association will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Grace Methodist Church on Drexel Avenue in Warren. Guest speaker will be Trumbull County Probate Judge James Frederika. A sock collection will take place for the Warren Family Mission and nonperishable food items will be collected for the church’s food pantry.

WALK WITH A DOC: Youngstown State University’s Bitonte College of Health and Human Services continues its commitment to public health through the Walk with a Doc program, a free community wellness initiative at the Southern Park Mall.

The program will take place 10 to 11 a.m. Nov. 6 and is led by YSU physical therapy faculty and students. Each session begins with a brief health talk before participants join in a walk around the mall. The events are designed to promote fitness, wellness and preventive care in a fun and social environment.

The walks are free and open to the public. All ages and fitness levels are welcome, and no registration is required.

NIGHT AT THE RACES: The Altar and Rosary Society of St. Patrick Church of Hubbard is having a Night at the Races fundraiser, 7 p.m. Nov. 8 at the parish center.

Tickets are $15 each and include a pizza buffet, snacks, refreshments and mixers. Feel free to BYOB and table snacks. Horses may be purchased for $20.
