Geauga gets ready for county fair

GREAT GEAUGA COUNTY FAIR: The Great Geauga County Fair will be Thursday to Monday. The grandstand schedule includes: Demolition Derby, 8 p.m. Thursday; Julia Nevels, 8 p.m. Friday; Demolition Derby, 7 p.m. Saturday; Truck and Tractor Show, 6:30 p.m. Sunday; Truck and Tractor Pulls, 7:30 p.m. Saturday; and High Steel Rodeo, 2:30 p.m. Monday. 60-MILE YARD SALE: The Route 7 60-Mile Yard Sale returns Labor Day weekend, Friday to Sunday, with vendors set up along Route 7 in Trumbull and Ashtabula counties. In Trumbull County, Hubbard city and township, and north to Brookfield, Hartford and Kinsman townships, will be among the communities participating.
The event features more than 100 sales along a 60-mile stretch of Ohio’s longest state highway.
