Bristol Fire Department sets open house
OPEN HOUSE: The Bristol Fire Department, state Route 88, will host an open house 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. The event will include tours of the fire station, fire truck and ambulance displays, safety displays, Trumbull County Sheriff’s Office demonstration, and hot dogs and other refreshments.
BOOK SALE: The Bristol Public Library is hosting a book sale. All items are available by donation and located in the library foyer. The sale is part of the Friends of the Bristol Library ongoing sale. Proceeds benefit library programming.
SUMMER CAMP: The Butler Institute of American Art is hosting a summer camp for children ages 8 to 13 Monday to Aug. 1 at the Butler’s north facility. Students will learn about landscapes, seascapes and culture to discover America’s rich tapestry of color. The camp will culminate on Aug. 1 with an exhibition of the artwork to be displayed in the Butler’s Beecher Court. For information, call Joyce at 234-228-8533.
TINY ART SHOW: The McKinley Memorial Library in Niles is hosting a tiny art show daily through Thursday. Various artwork will be showcased for public viewing.
PAINT PARTY: The Girard Free Library, 105 E. Prospect St., will offer a tiny paint party for teens at 3 p.m. Monday. To register, stop at the library or call 330-545-2508.
GREETING CARD CLASS: The Girard MultiGenerational Center, 443 Trumbull Ave., will host a greeting card making class 1 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. Seating is limited with registration needed today.
COMMUNITY GARAGE SALE: The Jackson-Milton community garage sale will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.. Aug. 1 and 2 at the North Jackson football field. The event serves North Jackson, Lake Milton, Craig Beach, Newton Falls and Austintown.
