3D printing tour coming to YSU on Monday

YOUNGSTOWN — Stratasys Inc., a global leader in 3D printing and additive manufacturing services, will bring its Experience Stratasys Tour to Youngstown State University 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday on Armed Forces Boulevard.
The mobile showroom will showcase the latest in Stratasys 3D printers, materials, software and additive solutions. The tour gives participants the chance to see firsthand how advanced 3D printing technology is shaping industries worldwide.
Visitors will experience five Stratasys technologies — H350, F370CR, J55, Origin, Neo800 and the new F3300 — and have the opportunity to meet with engineers and production experts. The event also will highlight Stratasys Direct Manufacturing, which provides 3D printing services, rapid prototyping and production part manufacturing for aerospace, automotive, consumer products and medical industries.
From design assistance and material selection to prototyping and production, Stratasys offers customized solutions to meet company needs and budgets. Attendees also can learn about the Stratasys AM Certification program for education and explore parts on display throughout the tour.
The event is free and open to the public. Parking will be available in the M70 lot on Fifth Avenue. A Chick-fil-A lunch will be provided for participants.
