LOOP invites community to look and create

LOOP Youngstown is turning to artists and the general public to document their communities. The group is seeking participants for a project called A Day in the LOOP. The goal is to use photography, video, writing and other art forms to capture the spirit of the community, in this case the five-county region encompassing Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties in Ohio and Mercer and Lawrence counties in Pennsylvania. Church fundraiser to aid dining hall The Food Truck Rockin’ Rally returns to St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, 3020 Reeves Road NE, Warren, on Saturday. Kent museum explores different fashion from North Africa

“A Meeting of Cultures: Fashioning North Africa” is on display at the Kent State University Museum. It features works by 25 contemporary North African designers and artists and includes more than 40 ensembles and accessories alongside photography by fashion photographers, journalists and social media influencers.
