Humperdinck returning to Packard
WARREN — Engelbert Humperdinck brings his Celebration tour to Packard Music Hall on March 28.
Best known for classics such as “Release Me,” “The Last Waltz” and “After the Lovin’,” Humperdinck, 89, won a Golden Globe award for entertainer of the year, received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and was nominated twice for a Grammy.
Humperdinck last performed at the Warren venue in 2013, and he did a Christmas concert at Youngstown’s Stambaugh Auditorium in 2022.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through Ticketmaster. An online-only presale runs 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday with the password: PACKARD.
Former ‘Jersey Boys’ play Warren
WARREN — The vocal group Under the Streetlamp will play a matinee show at the Robins Theatre on March 29.
Featuring former cast members of the musical “Jersey Boys,” the group performs the music of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, as well as other acts from the 1950s and l60s, and has been featured on PBS.
Tickets for the 3 p.m. show go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.
