Christ Episcopal presents fest of lessons, carols

The annual Christmas Festival of Lessons and Carols is scheduled at 6 p.m. Sunday at Christ Epsicopal Church, 2627 Atlantic St. NW, Warren.

The event weaves together scripture readings, choral music and congregational carols to celebrate the Christmas season. The Parish Choir will be joined by the Handbell Choir and a professional chamber orchestra, with Richard Konzen at the church’s Casavant pipe organ. The concert will be conducted by James W. Shiell, the church’s director of music.

Stambaugh Chorus seeking area singers

Stambaugh Chorus invites area singers to join the ensemble for its spring 2026 season.

Singers of all backgrounds are welcome, and rehearsals will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays at Youngstown State University’s Bliss Hall starting Jan. 6.
