Warren library features Zoom program with author
“Looking Back at Being Black in Rural Ohio” is the topic of a program at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library, 444 Mahoning Ave. NW, Warren.
Ric Sheffield, author of “We Got By: A Black Family’s Journey in the Heartland,” will talk about the black experience in small town America. Sheffield is a former professor at Kenyon College.
Admission is free, and funding for the program was made possible by Ohio Humanities, a state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
