Niles schools receive ODE literacy grant
NILES — The Niles City School District has received a $600,000 grant from the Ohio Department of Education that will allow the district to improve language and literacy development for students in grades 6-12. Niles City Schools is the only school district in Trumbull, Mahoning and Columbiana counties to receive the Striving Readers Comprehensive Literacy Grant on its own, independent of a consortium.
