After a year off, John Rossetti wanted to do something special for the Greater Youngstown Italian Fest. Last year’s event was canceled due to disruptions downtown caused by the Realty Tower explosion. Violinist booked for Evening Under the Stars benefit

Tickets are on sale now for the Avamar Foundation’s Evening Under the Stars benefit. This year’s entertainment is violinist Alexander Markov accompanied by an orchestra and choir. Markov has performed at Carnegie Hall and with such ensembles as the Philadelphia Orchestra, BBC Philharmonic, Orchestre de Paris and Montreal Symphony. The event also will include an exhibition by artist Susie Sharpe, dinner by AVI Foodsystems and prepared by executive chef Jeff McClure and wines by L’uva Bella.
