INDIANAPOLIS -- The Youngstown State women's basketball team was outdone by scoring lulls late in each half in a loss to IUPUI.
YSU closed the game on the wrong end of a 15-3 run and falls to 8-5 overall and in Horizon League play.
Senior Mary Dunn led the Penguins with 18 points, and five rebounds. Three other players for YSU reached the double-figure mark as Nneka Obiazor and Chelsea Olson each scored 11 points and McKenah Peters added 10.
The Penguins shot 48.2 percent on the evening, but that percentage was anchored by a 27.3 percent shooting percentage in the fourth quarter.
YSU gets another crack at the Jaguars tonight at 6 p.m.
