West Branch 2, Cardinal Mooney 0 -- Elli Colian and Emma Klingensmith scored to keep West Branch (15-0) unbeaten. Caidee Schroeder and Cambree Nezbeth assisted on the goals. Colian set the school record for points in a season, and with their 15th win, the team broke the West Branch school record for wins in a season.
Bristol 3, Pymatuning Valley 0 -- Lauren Church put two goals in the back of the net, leading Bristol. Jakobie Austin also scored for the Panthers and Indie'Ona Jackson had an assist. Madison Armour made six saves.
VOLLEYBALL
Lakeview 3, Niles 0 -- Cecelia DeToro had 39 points with 13 aces. DeToro also had 20 assists, pacing the Bulldogs offense. Annaliese DeJulio led with nine kills and Cady Esker had eight digs for Lakeview.
Chalker 3, Bloomfield 0 -- Katelyn Cook totaled 19 kills, five aces and four digs to lead Chalker. Julia Ross added eight kills, two aces and a block for the Wildcats. Kelsey Brown chipped in with seven kills, six digs and a pair of aces in the sweep.
Maplewood 3, Pymatuning Valley 0 -- Aleesia Woomer led Maplewood with 20 assists, 13 digs and two aces. Alyvia Upshir and Ava Calvert also had 13 digs each for the Rockets. Aliah Brumit had 10 kills to lead Maplewood.
Columbiana 3, East Palestine 0 -- Columbiana (16-1) stayed hot, behind 15 kills from Addisyn Dangler. Landry Smith added 14 kills, nine points and four aces for the Clippers. Eva Waller led Columbiana with 34 assists, while also totaling six points, two aces, two digs and one kill. Lily Jackson added nine digs and Ava Marks had seven digs, six points and four kills.
Crestview 3, Newton Falls 2 -- Crestview (15-3) broke a 2-2 tie, winning the fifth and final set 15-6. The Rebels were led by Cam Davidson with 21 assists. Bella Ciapala added 18 kills and three aces. Sophia Noling added 12 kills, 12 digs and six aces. Kerrigan Miller had a game-high 33 digs and Addison Wendell had 25 assists for the Rebels. Newton Falls was led by Jada Blutcher with 29 kills, 25 points and six aces. Payton Starkey had 24 points, Ashlynn Lance added 17 digs and 15 points and Karlie Murphy had 22 digs, 12 kills and 10 points for the Tigers.
LATE MONDAY
Boardman 3, East Liverpool 0 -- Maya Flores had 34 kills and 15 digs in a huge outing for Boardman. Gianna Commons added 25 assists and 17 digs. Emma Terlesky also chipped in with 23 assists for the Spartans. Riley Seydlorsky added 14 digs and four aces.
Poland 3, Springfield 1 -- Rosie Simki had 15 points with three aces to lead Poland. Isabel Greco led the Bulldogs with 17 kills and Shaleigh Walker added 10 kills. Makenna Seville totaled 27 assists and Brooke Dailey added 18. Catie Catcott had 12 digs for the Bulldogs.
BOYS SOCCER
Newton Falls 13 Mineral Ridge 0 -- Lampman scored four goals and Drake and Vargo each scored twice for Newton Falls. Knoske added two goals and Lane scored once as the Tigers overpowered the Rams. Stinson tallied a game-high four assists. Montgomery finished with five saves for the Tigers.
LATE MONDAY
Poland 8, South Range 0 -- Michael Hostal led the Poland (11-3) offense, totaling three assists and two goals. Salvi Carramusa added a trio of goals for the Bulldogs. Reno Tukalo and Luka Milosevic added a goal and an assist each, while Dimitri Kefaliania also scored a goal.
