Division II NE Sectional
at Windmill Lakes
Poland (Matthew Morrone 75, Angelo Rinaldi 76, Ryan Lombardo 83, Nicholas Dipasqua 83, Parker Ogden 87) brought home the Division II NE District Sectional Championship on Tuesday with a team score of 317. Individually, Morrone and Rinaldi finished second and third overall. Cardinal Mooney, led by Tyler Guerrieri with a score of 71, good enough for a first place individual finish, took second place as a team with a +43.

Canfield 3, Howland 0 -- Talia Rishel totaled 19 assists and 10 digs for Howland. Lily Day had 19 digs for the Tigers, along with three points. Maya Kubancsek added 13 kills and three blocks and Maria Chucksa had three points with two aces and two blocks. With her performance, Kubancsek became the first player in school history to surpass 1,000 kills and digs for a career.
Maplewood 3, Bloomfield 0 -- Aleesia Woomer had 12 assists, five digs and three aces to lead Maplewood in a sweep. Aliah Brumit had eight kills and five aces for the Rockets. Ava Calvert had eight digs, leading Maplewood and Alyvia Upshir added five kills.
Crestview 3, LaBrae 0 -- Cam Davidson has 20 digs and two kills to lead Crestview (10-1). Multiple Rebels had double digit digs including Haley Boano (17) and Kerigan Miller (12). Miller also had four aces. Bella Ciapala led with 18 kills.
Newton Falls 3, Champion 0 -- Ashlynn Lance led Newton Falls (8-3) with 16 points and 16 digs. Jada Blutcher added 15 points and 12 kills and Kirra Howard had 11 kills for the Tigers.
South Range 3, Poland 0 -- South Range (13-0) stayed unbeaten, behind 17 kills and 12 digs from Anna Toy. Parker Zwingler added 16 assists, six digs and four aces for the undefeated Raiders. Natalie Barnett also came up big with 11 assists, five digs and one ace, while Lily Weaver was everywhere for South Range, totaling eight digs, five kills, four aces and two blocks. Izzy Greco led Poland (3-10) with eight digs and seven kills.
Chalker 3, Pymatuning Valley 0 -- Katelyn Cook totaled 17 assists, five digs and three kills to lead Chalker. Kelsey Brown added nine kills, five digs and two aces for the Wildcats and Julia Ross had eight kills, four blocks and two digs. Riley Ashcraft added six kills, five digs, four aces and one block.
Cardinal 3, Windham 0 -- Kierrah Sanders had five digs, three kills and two aces for Windham. Kyleigh Simpson added four assists for the Bombers.
Columbiana 3, Lisbon 0 -- Eva Waller surpassed 1,000 career assists for Columbiana with her performance, totaling 29 assists, six points, one ace and one dig. Landry Smith added 12 kills, 12 points with five aces, one block and one dig. Addisyn Dangler was also big for the Clippers, totaling 10 kills, four points and one ace. Keagan Pruitt was another Clipper who contributed, adding 12 points, nine digs, three aces and three kills, while Ava Marks had seven points, seven digs, four kills and an ace.
Lakeview 3, Girard 1 -- Lakeview won three straight sets after dropping the opener. Cecelia DeToro led the Bulldogs with 22 points including seven aces and 44 assists. Annaliese DeJulio added 16 digs and 12 kills and Ella Gough also had 16 digs. Anna Haynie and Leah Toth also had 12 kills each for the Bulldogs. For Girard, Chloe Plant led with 16 assists, 15 points and one ace.
Grand Valley 3, Badger 0 -- Sarah Miller and Morgan Hall combined for 20 digs, with Miller totaling 11 digs for Badger. Hall also had five points with two aces. Alison Price added five kills for the Braves and Katelyn Tunison had six points with three aces.
