Western Reserve 5, Waterloo 0 — Landan Gerchak pitched a one-hitter for the Blue Devils as they beat Waterloo. He struck out 11 and walked five in the complete-game victory. Hunter Stacey had a two-run triple and Cole Dotson added a sacrifice fly. The other two Western Reserve runs came on wild pitches. The Blue Devils will face Maplewood in the district semifinal on Wednesday.
