Maplewood 11, Cardinal 1 — Tyson Webster struck out eight and allowed no hits to push Maplewood to the next round of the tournament. Gabe Erwin led the offense with three hits and two RBIs. Josh Suba added two hits and two RBIs for the Rockets and Cole Urchek drove in two runs with a hit.

Western Reserve 5, Waterloo 0 — Landan Gerchak pitched a one-hitter for the Blue Devils as they beat Waterloo. He struck out 11 and walked five in the complete-game victory. Hunter Stacey had a two-run triple and Cole Dotson added a sacrifice fly. The other two Western Reserve runs came on wild pitches. The Blue Devils will face Maplewood in the district semifinal on Wednesday.
