Hubbard 3, LaBrae 1 — The Eagles plated two runs in the top of the seventh inning. Haleigh Taylor went 3-for-3 with an RBI and run scored to power Hubbard. Leah DeArmitt hit a solo home run for the Vikings, and Madison Johnson doubled. Taylor was credited with the win after one run on four hits and five walks, striking out eight in the complete game. DeArmitt took the loss after surrendering three runs – one earned – on five hits and two walks. She fanned 13 while going the distance.
Louisville 6, Lakeview 4 — Louisville scored two runs in the bottom of the third and three more in the fourth to take a 6-3 lead. Isabella Isenberg hit a home run, drove in two and scored once for the Bulldogs. Mackenzie Stowe was 2-for-4, including a double, with an RBI and a run scored, Rylee Barnot had three hits and a run scored, Ava Neilan had two singles and a double and Ella Collins drove in a run on a sacrifice. Isenberg took the loss after she gave up six runs – four earned – on nine hits and a walk, striking out eight in a complete game.
Poland 10, Springfield 8 — The Bulldogs scored eight runs in the bottom of the second inning to build a lead that the Tigers couldn’t come back from. Cassie Blanch singled and doubled with two RBIs and a run scored to lead the Bulldogs. Emma Boccieri singled with two RBIs and a run scored, Sydney Bulick singled and doubled with a run scored, Madison Medvec singled twice with an RBI and scored twice and Ali Blinsky doubled with an RBI and a run scored. Brooklyn Chachko led the Tigers with a 2-for-4 performance with two RBIs and a run scored, and Kensley Schrode went 3-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored. Blinsky picked up the win after she surrendered three runs – one earned – on two hits and two walks and struck out six in five innings pitched. Schrode took the loss after giving up nine runs – eight earned – on 10 hits while striking out three in 2 2/3 innings in the start.
Cardinal Mooney 16, Pymatuning Valley 5 — The Cardinals recorded 21 hits in the victory. Alexis McKinstry and Grace Rinaldi each hit two home runs for the Cardinals. Rinaldi had four hits, including a double, with three RBIs and four runs scored, and McKinstry had three hits, four RBIs and three runs scored. Lily Sardich added three hits and three RBIs, Angela Bettura singled and doubled with an RBI and scored three times, Taylor Watts had a hit and two RBIs and Julianna Ramos had three hits and two runs scored. Peyton Hudson doubled with two RBIs for the Lakers. Kailee Reynolds singled and doubled with a run scored, Macie Payne singled and doubled with an RBI and Mackenzie Kribbs doubled with an RBI and a run scored. Justice Paris earned the win after allowing five runs on seven hits and a free pass, striking out six in five innings of work. Kribbs was the losing pitcher of record after giving up five runs on seven hits in 2 1/3 innings in the start.
Maplewood 6, St. John 1 — Lexi Yannucci pitched a two-hit complete game, allowing one unearned run and walking one, while striking out 13. Addison Marker was 2-for-4, including a home run, with an RBI and two runs scored to lead the Rockets. Claire Urchek doubled with two RBIs and a run scored, Lexi Yannucci singled with two driven in and a run scored, Raegan Krieg singled with an RBI, Lauran Krieg and Kya Dunbar both singled once and scored and Katie Wear singled.
Maplewood 4, Geneva 0 — Addison Marker threw a three-hit complete game, fanning 13 and walking one. Marker went 3-for-4, including a home run and a double, with an RBI and two runs scored. Claire Urchek had two hits and a run scored, Raegan Krieg finished with two hits and an RBI, Lexi Yannucci had a hit with an RBI and a run scored and Samantha Krieg added an RBI.
Howland 9, Padua Franciscan 4 — The Tigers broke a 4-4 tie with three runs in the fourth and two more in the fifth. Maya Kubancsek hit a home run with two RBIs and scored twice for the Tigers. Madison Schmitz was 3-for-3 with four runs scored and an RBI, Makenna Perry went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored and Ella Newbrough had a hit, an RBI and scored once. Kubancsek earned the win after pitching four innings, allowing four runs – two earned – on two hits and two walks and striking out seven.
Conneaut 14, Niles 12 (9 inn.) — The Red Dragons fell despite freshman Julie Burke striking out 18 in the complete game. She allowed 14 runs – three earned – on nine hits and five walks. Mia Myers led the Dragons with a single and triple and four RBIs, Mady Sullivan had two hits and an RBI, Coryn Scott added a hit and an RBI and Larkin Stanford and Caroline Cormell each singled.
Ursuline 12, Perry 4 — The Fighting Irish scored five runs each in the third and fourth innings to break the game open. Alice Stroney hit two home runs with four RBIs and two runs scored, and Brooke Burton also homered with two RBIs and two runs scored to lead the Irish. Ella Lewis added two hits, three RBIs and two runs scored. In the circle, Stroney allowed four runs on eight hits and a walk in the complete-game victory.
South Range 3, Tallmadge 2 — The Raiders scored all three of their runs in the bottom of the first inning. Solena DeJesus doubled twice and had three RBIs for the Raiders. Gabby Spooner doubled and singled and scored once, and Keira Brogan and Sophia Brogan both singled and scored. Ashley Rupert earned the win after two runs on five hits and striking out three in 3 2/3 innings of work in the start.

Cardinal Mooney 9, LaBrae 1 — The Cardinals stayed undefeated and never trailed. Taco Verocco homered and singled with an RBI and two runs scored for the Cardinals (9-0). Ben Oddis doubled and singled with two RBIs and two runs scored, and Will Petty doubled and singled with two driven in and a run scored. Lucas Glaser doubled for the Vikings, Austin Rowe, Colton Hall and Noah Majersky each singled and Eric Reibold scored their lone run. Landon Brunstetter took the loss after surrendering seven runs on five hits and seven walks in 4 1/3 innings. Tyler Wilson pitched three hitless innings in the win, allowing one unearned run on a pair of walks and punching out six.
Poland 7, Salem 6 (8 inn.) — The Bulldogs scored two runs for the walk-off win. Aiden Perry singled and doubled with three RBIs and a run scored for the Bulldogs. Grady Pitzulo doubled and singled with an RBI and a run scored, Joe Zuccaro singled and drove in a run, Dylan Kelty plated one and Zack Marantis singled twice with a run scored. Luke Lockeic, who also doubled, earned the win after throwing one-third of a scoreless inning of relief. Ben Kuboff was 3-for-5 with a double, two RBIs and a run scored to lead the Quakers. Bairon Exline had two hits and three runs scored, Braydon Van Dyne singled and scored twice and Vinny Yannucci had an RBI. Kuboff took the loss after giving up seven runs – five earned – on nine hits and a walk with five strikeouts in 7 1/3 innings pitched.
Howland 10, McDonald 3 — Howland Varsity Tigers scored eight runs in the fifth inning. Santino Minniti doubled and drove in three while scoring once to lead the Tigers. Richie Ansel doubled with two RBIs and two runs scored, Steven Bubon had an RBI and two runs scored and Deacon Mock singled and had an RBI. Chayse Hickox was 3-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored for the Blue Devils. Josh Srock singled twice with an RBI and a run scored, and Anthony Larson singled and drove in a run. Elliot Gebhardt was credited with the win after throwing three innings of scoreless ball, allowing two hits and two walks. Brady Shobel took the loss after giving up two runs – one earned – on a hit and a walk.
Struthers 3, Brookfield 1 — For Struthers (4-7), Jordan Becker, Drew Chizmar and Travis McMurray all had two hits. Michael Scavnicky added a double and two RBIs. Anthony Pastella (2-0) earned the win, and Chizmar collected his second save of the season. For Brookfield (3-7), Devin Reardon led the way with three hits. Judah Dejoy had two hits, including a triple. Braydon Demaria pitched a complete game, taking the loss. He allowed one earned run while striking out five.
Garrettsville Garfield 8, Maplewood 7 — Brock Pesicek hit a two-run homer, Carson Norton was 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored, Lukas Workman was 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored and Jared Cardinal had two hits and an RBI for the G-Men. Kenyan Clover was 3-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs scored, Cowen Hooper tripled and scored and Josh Suba doubled and drove in an RBI for the Rockets. Jack Neikirk was credited with the win one run on two hits and two walks in two innings pitched. Suba surrendered eight runs – seven earned – on eight hits and a pair of walks. He pitched 3 1/3 innings in the loss.
Beavercreek 10, Canfield 1 — Beavercreek took control with a six-run top of the third inning, pushing its lead to 7-0 at the time. Michael Maszczak, Matthew Campbell and Logan Patellis each singled once for the Cardinals’ only hits. Anthony Groner took the loss by giving up a solo home run in his only inning of work in the first.
