YOUNGSTOWN -- Youngstown State had a busy day in the transfer portal, as two targets announced their commitments to the Penguins on Monday.
Merrimack forward Ziggy Reid announced his commitment via Twitter. The reigning NEC Tournament MVP averaged 14.2 points and 4.1 rebounds per game. He shot 52 percent from inside the arc. The Baltimore native stands at 6-6, 235 and has one year of eligibility left.
Also Monday, Northern Kentucky forward Imanuel Zorgvol announced his commitment on Instagram. Zorgvol stands at 7-0, 215, and just completed his redshirt freshman season. In 9.1 minutes of action per game, Zorgvol averaged 2.6 points and 2.8 rebounds. He blocked 21 shots in that span.
