MILWAUKEE -- Youngstown State scored 10 points over the last 16 minutes as Milwaukee rallied to beat the Penguins on Thursday, 59-54.
YSU (13-15, 6-11 Horizon League) held a 44-32 lead with 6 minutes left in the third quarter. Milwaukee (13-15, 10-7 Horizon League) closed the gap to 48-44 after three quarters.
The Panthers moved into sole possession of fifth place in the standings, while Oakland, which lost at Wright State Thursday, is tied with YSU for seventh place.
Milwaukee senior Lizzie Odegard led all players with a game-high 19 points.
Chelsea Olson paced the Penguins with 17 points and contributed six rebounds on the defensive end. YSU ends the regular season Saturday at Green Bay, starting at 3 p.m.
