Windham to move to 8-man for 2026 season

The Windham Bombers will be taking the plunge, becoming the latest area school to make the switch to 8-man football. Windham will join the Northern 8 Conference next season, alongside Kennedy Catholic from Hermitage, Pa. While participation numbers aren’t at a critical low for Windham – around 50 percent of the male students at the high school participate in football – the school is still small.
