That girl in the campaign ad from Texas who had sex change surgery should sue the social-media company where she was "groomed." Most social-media sites are owned by billionaires. The issue she might have is that when she accepted the agreement to use the social-media app she probably waived her right to sue in an actual court of law. These billionaires usually have clauses in those agreements where any dispute goes to private arbitration and not to an actual court of law.

UNITED WE STAND, indeed a great motto. Unfortunately Trump, the tough-talking draft dodger and his puppet staff changed attitudes for some Americans. We are now a DEEPLY divided America. Our new motto DUMP TRUMP! DO IT, that's the ONLY way to salvage our democracy.

Vivek Ramaswamy has opposed cannabis legalization and has argued that today's high-potency cannabis poses serious public health risks. Ramaswamy has gone on the record to say he voted against cannabis legalization when it was on the ballot in 2023. If you support legal cannabis, criminal justice reform or protecting Ohio's legalization efforts, his approach is a step in the wrong direction.
Vote Amy Acton.

In business, if you do a good job you get a raise based on performance. In Warren, city council voted on many raises for the administration and themselves, locking in forever raises with a 2% increase every six months. The mayor makes $104,000/year which seems high considering the median household income is $37,887 and the poverty rate in Warren is 32%. Warren's population is declining, the crime rate exceeds the national average and blighted properties are everywhere. So does the mayor and city council deserve these large, forever raises? I think not.

My natural gas bill was $56. Only $4 of that went to pay for actual natural gas used. How much of the additional $52 went to Political Action Committees to pay for the outrageous, nonsensical, lying campaign ads that are trying to brain-wash voters? So, not only am I being price-gouged but that same ill-gotten money is being used to keep Jon Husted in power who, according to court documents, may be responsible for utility price-gouging schemes in the first place.

Ohio is at a crossroad. We can keep heading in the direction of Louisiana, Alabama, Arkansas and Mississippi where they vote overwhelmingly GOP. These four states are in the bottom six for income and quality-of-life. Each of them has nearly 100% Republican elected officials. Currently in Ohio, our governor, both senators and 67% of Congress are Republican. Ohio can get back to the center in the upcoming election where a more balanced government would reverse Ohio's current path to the bottom.

Trump has given Russia a lifeline by letting his buddy Putin sell diesel on the open market under the guise of helping the world economy. Russia is our enemy, supports Iran etc. and now 47 is rewarding it. The Ukraine government has challenged this, and Trumpy wants their president to resign. "Elect someone that will end this war", he says. 47 claims the war is President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's fault. What a horrible/unaware person our president is.

Thank you, Judge Andrew Napolitano, for sharing your memories of Blessed Fulton J. Sheen. It was a beautiful, uplifting story. I recall seeing Archbishop Sheen on television, I think it was in the 1960s, rather than the 1950s. I've seen a book published about him in a catalog. Now I think I'll order it for myself.

Republicans tell lies in their TV ads: Sherrod Brown opposes raising taxes. He saved pensions. The girl who talks about gender surgery lives in Texas and is an adult. Jon Husted lied that Brown supports open borders and ignores veterans. Ramaswamy lied about Amy Acton while he sold ineffective medication. Acton is not a drunk. She withdrew from an internship because of pregnancy. Husted had to testify about FirstEnergy and "couldn't remember" anything.
VOTE BLUE. Say NO to more lies.

I went to the Board of Elections to vote. I think it is terrible the way the surrounding lots looked. People from all over Trumbull County come in to vote early, so you would think the city would want the area to look nice. The old Rite Aid and the old bank next door have high grass, tall weeds growing in the landscape and gravel all over. Why isn't the councilperson, the mayor or City Council and zoning doing anything to get the area cleaned up? A great big ONION to all of those people!! Be proud enough of your city that you would want it looking nice.

Check it out, MAGA. The Trump administration has just opened their very own AI engine to answer all our questions. Go to America.gov Enjoy! Sample questions you can ask: Who won the 2020 election? What economy was better, 2024 or 2025? Did DDGE meet its goals? Is COVID a hoax? When the US issues a tariff on another country, who pays it? is it legal for a sitting president to accept a $400 million jet gift from a foreign country"

So let me get this straight. Warren Mayor Doug Franklin's administration was afraid of the public perception if they let Police Chief Eric Merkel retire, but this is the same bunch of administrators who did not give one ounce of concern for what the public thought when they orchestrated a $20,000 overnight raise for themselves a few years ago. I don't know about the rest of the public, but these jokers giving themselves that raise bothers me more than letting one guy retire.

Televising an execution by a firing squad is sickening, disgusting, degrading, monstrous and morbid. This administration is trying to normalize and immunize Americans to this atrocity, taking us back to years ago when these executions were entertainment. It is unacceptable, and it is pushing humanity aside. This is not restoring American values; it is tearing them apart. There is such great shame on Trump, Hegseth and Mullin if they follow through on this abomination. Please Republicans, if you have a conscience, speak up and stop this.

The recent shooting in NYC by ICE agents of an illegal alien from the Dominican Republic with a prior conviction for grand larceny, and multiple prior arrests for assault, robbery, possession of drugs and weapons possession fits the twisted liberal narrative of "Just say yes to criminals."
