Do these politicians really think that bombarding us with constant political ads on television will convince us to vole for them? Husted and Brown are running dozens and dozens of ads each day on local TV. Election fatigue is upon us and the election is weeks and weeks away.

Whoever is in charge of mowing and weeding the lawn at the former YMCA building has been remiss in their job. With overgrown grass and rampant weeds. it is an embarrassment. Thousands of people pass by that area -- concertgoers, festival attendees, city employees, etc. People want downtown Warren to be an attraction, but that part of the city is not helping. In fact, it is a hindrance. Surely, the owner could be held responsible for the upkeep.

Kudos to Dennis Watkins! Not only has he fought tooth and nail for justice for Miriam Fife, but he is also now fighting for all children who have suffered at the hands of rapists. His proposal for the death penalty to be applied to anyone found guilty of the rape of a minor should be passed by the legislators without exception. Thank you, Mr. Watkins, for your years of service in helping victims, especially the most vulnerable.

DEMOCRATS, WAKE UP!! The majority of American voters will not support females, gays or socialists for president. So Kamala, Pete, AOC and others like them, do not waste your time and money campaigning in 2028 primaries. You cannot win the 2028 election. You need a strong male candidate with some accomplishments and a good platform. I would support Navy pilot, astronaut and Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly.

Why when I see photos in print or television videos of rescued dogs (usually malnourished) does it always seem to be a pitbull or pitbull mix? Once in a great while it's a pup or dog of a different breed but 9 times out of 10 they are pitbull terriers. Dog pounds and animal shelters are beyond their capacity from this scourge. Please, do not mention Petey from the "Little Rascals," because that excuse has run its course. It's an exception to the rule in my book.

MENTAL HEALTH:. Our president was defeated at warfare while we all pay for it. He and Petey are no match for the Iranians. Now he removes a carrier that helps protect South Korea. He says Rocket Man is his friend and doesn't think he needs to be threatened. He has threatened and undermined NATO. Has no fear of boredom; restless, too much anxiety. He just threatened Oman, another ally. He falls asleep on TV. 47 creates drama each day.

Dear Soundoff, We are in a losing war, naval ships broke down and ill-supplied and troops dying and many wounded -- and Hegseth out on the campaign trail. Our economy is in the toilet; many are hurting and Bessent out campaigning. Bobby Jr. out there with them, hawking votes while we have disease issues. I'm sure many other Cabinet members are out trying to push Trump's agenda. I call this mismanagement.
