Sound off!
It is so fitting that JJ Cafaro has been unmasked as the mastermind behind the reflecting pool fiasco. Chalk it up to a rather long list of problematic ventures, another one at the expense of the taxpayer. Is this two-time convicted felon heading for third. Pardon me, or just pardon. I am sure his family is proud of the legacy this stain has left on the Mahoning Valley. Rumor has it that Commissioner Hernandez is looking for a new partner in the spa hospitality business!

I feel by mailing the papers via USPS was really stupid on your part. We had a perfectly good delivery person that would deliver the paper daily. Now whenever there is a federal holiday we don’t get a paper. I pay to get daily delivery, so I hope on the days the mail isn’t delivered that I get credit for no paper. I’ve already had to call because our USPS driver has failed to deliver. I don’t think I will be renewing when it’s time.

Hey DeWine, where’s your justice for the victims of your murders? You protected them for eight years. You hid behind your so called fact that you couldn’t get the drugs for the legally justified executions? Evidently you don’t know or care that Police have rooms full of fentanyl! People are dying from it everyday, just the wrong people. You’ve done nothing more than endanger the people and prevent justice!

Again today a driver failed to stop on Howland Wilson Road at Route 82 westbound and vehicles were locking up their breaks. The state is planning to block the cross over on Route 82. The question came to me. In the meantime who is going to be the last to die before this intersection is removed? How many have died already? It doesn’t seem to stop.

Obviously, Trumbull Memorial/Steward/Insight Hospital will not re-open. Now there is news that Sharon Hospital (another Steward fiasco), currently operated by Tenor, is in financial difficulty, owing $3 million in back taxes and lawsuits. Is there any word at all about the Steward CEO who is responsible for all of this? Come on, County Commissioners, City Council, Warren “leaders.” Either admit you are doing nothing or give Trumbull County residents some inkling of what is happening.

It appears some of the strings on Trump’s puppets are breaking. Hopefully those who break away will STOP the awful and damaging decisions our LOOSE CANNON president would make. He approved cutting medical and food assistance for the needy while spending millions of dollars for his personal entertainment. He started an unnecessary war. Cost SO FAR: 13 American service members and 7,500 civilian deaths. War operations: $149 billion, American consumers: $60 billion. ROI, more disrespect from our allies!

This is to the person who said he’s tired of the same people blasting Trump. Here are additional valid comments. He is abusing allies (Meloni), He attacks Obama every day (such jealously), he’s lost the Iranian War, trying to stop mail-in voting (why), has put Pulte in charge of Intel Dept who comes from FHA, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Pulte has no security clearance. 47 says “this person will look into my election loss.”

One down, two to go, to vote out apathetic poor performing commissioners. This month Dynegy electric county aggregate rate of 10.14 kwh takes effect, just as air conditioners are in use. Former supplier Energy Harbor is 8.99 kwh for 12 billing cycles. Signing up for Energy Harbor or an alternative supplier, sends info to Ohio Edison who will notify Dynegy you opted out. Please remember to vote responsibly in future to rid the county of bad decision makers who do not have residents’ best interest in mind.

Although Ohio’s official slogan is “Ohio, The Heart of it All,” politicians my want to seriously consider adapting to changing times. In light of the recent developments, shouldn’t its new slogan be “Ohio, the Data Center of the Universe”?
