Trump gets us in yet another ‘no-win’ war

DEAR EDITOR:

The definition of “ignorant” is lacking knowledge and training; i.e., uninformed.

Our military is taught and trained to not follow illegal orders.

If this is true, who is responsible for the non-congressional declaration of war with Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraq?

The four “no-win” conflicts cost many lives and permanent lifelong injuries. Plus, they cost American taxpayers trillions of dollars, and the military contractors made billions of dollars that could have been used here in the United States.

Are our military and the American people ignorant of the fact you don’t have to follow illegal orders of a non-congressional declaration of war, foreign or domestic, now here at home?

Remember this, in order for Republican George W. Bush to get a second term as president, he lied and told the American people Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. Our military attacked and invaded Iraq but no weapons of mass destruction were found.

They say the GOP has a Nazi problem and a lying problem; they have both.

Trump took a knee to Putin; now he is taking a knee to Netanyahu.

Kings and dictators declare wars, not American presidents. That’s Congress’ job to do.
