Enough with the selective outrage on gasoline prices

DEAR EDITOR:

For the past weeks, the price of gasoline has had the liberals clutching in terror at their pearls.

Oh, the humanity!

I keep an account of my daily activities in calendars — my appointments, snowfall amounts, when I plant flowers, when I pick my first tomatoes, do a bit of baking and when I buy gas.

I save my old calendars. I can look back and see what happened years ago. I looked back and saw the price of gas during Joe Biden’s flawed tenure in the Oval Office.

On May 20, 2024, it was $3.99/gallon; on Jan. 26, 2023, $3.99/gallon; on May 27, 2022, $4.90/gallon; and on July 2, 2022, $4.99/gallon. There was no shock. No outrage.

The airwaves went silent. Jimmy Kimmel, Bad Bunny and Oscar night elites do an excellent job shielding one of their own.
