DEAR EDITOR:

Question No. 1: Now that Congress appears to have defunded Obamacare subsidies for 22 million Americans, can something be done in an organized way to help the sickest among them who face a grim future?

Question No 2: Will Congress maintain its focus on the distribution of health care by examining in depth America’s unique employer-paid group health insurance? This scheme is mistakenly assumed by most everyone to be obvious and sound, although it has escaped actual examination by competent institutions for 80 years.

In a letter published here in June 2025, I explain the why and how even Republican congressmen can shine a light on group health without risk to their reelection bids and future lobbying careers.
