Juvenile crime really isn’t much of a mystery at all
DEAR EDITOR:
I heard that the Warren City Council members, the mayor, a judge, teachers and others are going to come together on why there is juvenile crime in the city. I thought these people were smarter. You only have to look into the home and home life.
Is there a father figure (probably not) or a mother to set a routine, discipline or rules to abide by, to make sure they go to school, come home, do their homework or even have home-cooked meal? Let them play outside for an hour. Do they have a curfew? No one should be outside after dark in the winter and 9 o’clock in the summer.
No phone until they are 18. This is so simple. These phones are behavior modification systems and the manufacturers hid this from the consumers, especially children and teenagers. These phones are the cigarettes of today, causing addiction.
