GOP is the heart of the real problem in Ohio
DEAR EDITOR:
Ohio has had a Republican governor since 2011, the Ohio Senate has been controlled by Republicans since 1985, the Ohio House has been controlled by Republicans since 2011 and the Ohio Supreme Court had a Republican majority for the last 20 years.
Are you happy with Ohio’s sales tax, income tax, property taxes, roads, bridges, schools, social support network, growth and the cost of groceries?
We are paying more in local taxes but they are sent to the state, where they keep the majority and are sitting on a surplus “rainy day fund” while giving less back to our communities. This forces our local communities to ask for more taxes from us. Think about that come November!
Nothing getting done to the real problems.
