DEAR EDITOR:

Animal abuse is unacceptable.

Warren now has another disgusting scumbag who joins the ranks of animal abusers, Thomas Leinbuckler and Stephanie Swegan. Richard Sanek is the latest dirtbag animal abuser. The innocent dog, Leonidas, was emaciated when found on Sunday, July 13 and died on Monday, July 14. There is no excuse to withdraw food and water from an animal.

The wise man, Gandhi, once said the measure of a civilized society is how they treat their animals. By that measure, Sanek is uncivilized and a damper to civilized people, especially children. Neighbors and associates of these people need to be aware and report them. I can hope the judge who hears Sanek’s case gives him the maximum jail time and fine and bans him from owning another animal. Like I’ve written before, the only animals Leinbuckler and Swegan should be around is Danny Lee Hill and that goes for Sanek.
