DEAR EDITOR:

I feel it’s shocking to see people picked up on the streets by masked, supposed federal agents. If that’s not bad enough, the reasoning President Donald Trump is using is that the people are anti-semites is flawed, especially in America.

Firstly, whether you are a citizen or not, you have civil rights to legal representation and court if necessary. Secondly, I am not an antisemite or against anybody’s religion. I am against Bibi Netanyahu and the way he is using Israeli military power on helpless people in Gaza.

That is my “political” decision. It is also my right of freedom of speech. What’s worse is the image of people being kidnapped off the streets by nonuninformed, mask-wearing assailants. This reeks of Nazi Germany. The true antisemites. I am embarrassed for my country.
