My thanks to the Tribune Chronicle for publishing an article about our son, Frank Shirley, in the Business Briefs of the March 22-23 edition. His mother and I are so happy for and proud of him.

In addition, please forward our gratitude to whomever submitted / printed the same information under the “Orchids and Onions” portion of the March 29-30 Tribune edition. It was so kind to do this, and it is rewarding as a parent to see it reported on the opinion page.

Frank’s success is not only due to his own hard work and determination, but to the excellence of the Howland school system and teachers, who gave him the education and training that he needed to succeed.
