“$1 billion was stolen from FEMA to use for illegal migrants,” Trump said.Trump’s claim is inaccurate. FEMA did not give money directly to New York hotels; it did give money to New York City. That move was neither illegal nor secretive. It was part of a program that Congress created and funded using money from U.S. Customs and Border Protection, not FEMA’s Disaster Relief Fund, which is primarily used after natural disasters. The money did not fund luxury hotel rooms for immigrants.

As a taxpayer and parent, what does the Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities do? They approved a $1.4 million renovation of the Fairhaven board office! Yet the students go without! School gymnasium stage had been broken for years, sinks and bathrooms are not handicapped accessible. The school is in need of a complete makeover. Yet the board office gets everything new and maybe the teachers get hand-me-downs. Come on, board, do better. Just don’t OK things for those in management. Wasted money at the top again!

Dan Polivka retired from public service in 2012 and continued to run for public office even though he’s been pulling a public service pension for the 13 years! If he’s retired, why does he keep running? Say no to double dippers! You can’t keep doing the job you retired from in the private sector and get paid, why should a politician like Dan Polivka?

As a mother of two and a person who has lost a brother to murder, I highly commend and support Dennis Watkins for his tireless efforts to bring back the death penalty in Ohio. For anyone that feels what he is doing is wrong, it tells me you have either never been in this situation or have no heart. I want to be safe and I want my family and friends to be safe. Allowing these animals back into society is not wise and is taking a risk we shouldn’t be taking. Let the man do his job. I pray God blesses his efforts.

Get rid of anyone looking into Musk’s business dealings. Shut down putting up EV charging stations because Musk has his own company for that. Cut space money so his private company gets space money. But take all government contracts that give him money. Wasteful?

In 1997, the Ohio Supreme Court found that using property taxes to fund schools was unconstitutional. Now public schools are suing to stop private schools from using some of the property tax money for support. It mystifies me how public schools can sue for money that is illegally used. The Ohio Supreme Court is the highest state court and their orders are just ignored. I wish that I could ignore my property tax bill. But that would not go well for me. Mystified.

A quarter of a million people who worked for the federal government inn 1993 were cut under President Bill Clinton and he was the last one to balance the federal budget, and no one said a word! When I and many others worked, we would have a performance review once a year and whether or not you got a raise. So what’s the problem, Democrats?

Recently, the Screen Actors Guild award show was on TV. The Hollywood elite voted for the Lifetime Achievement Award and it was presented to Jane Fonda (aka, Hanoi Jane). I don’t know about anyone else, but every Vietnam veteran and I will never forgive her for sitting on a tank in North Vietnam and calling our soldiers “pigs” and “baby killers.” From now until the day she dies, she will only be known as Hanoi Jane.

Our president has made us vulnerable by firing top and lower echelon people at CIA, FBI, DOD, and top generals at each military branch; the JAGs, who monitor our military for fairness, and Independent Inspector Generals, who independently watch for fraud and corruption. The current administration also voted in the UN to join Russia in voting against a UN resolution condemning Russia’s war in Ukraine. And what happened to fighting inflation and grocery prices — I guess it’s overlooked by the president’s punishing HIS enemies.

Tax cheating for business owners has been reinstated. Thousands of IRS agents are being fired, so businesses can begin cooking their books again. Hard working Americans who get paid after taxes are deducted will continue paying taxes, but business owners can once again hide some income. Deregulation is also returning. Financial institutions can once again trick lower educated Americans into signing for loans they can’t possibly afford and then stick hard-working Americans with the consequences. Just like in 2008.

Here are some historical quotes that fit our current times. “Those who don’t remember the past, are condemned to repeat it.”“Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.”“Try not to become a man of success, but rather try to become a man of value.”“Stay away from negative people. They have a problem for every solution.”“The only thing more dangerous than ignorance is arrogance.” …-“Weak people revenge, intelligent people ignore.”

TC residents are being told cuts need to be made, taxes and water rates need to be increased or layoffs are coming. BUT a “special projects coordinator” position was created at $45/hr to coordinate special projects. If the county is broke, WHAT special projects? The HR director was out attending the SAME training in Columbus that the County Commissioners were at. The HR director who just got a $10K raise and has NEVER attended this training before. It is in preparation for ANOTHER newly created position of County Administrator they’re being promised. All money being spent at the taxpayers’ expense during a fiscal crisis. Next year’s commissioners race can’t get here soon enough for me because I will be voting against the biggest “RINO” on the ballot. No pun intended.

Pay attention, women athletes. The Democrats in the Senate voted unanimously against the bill to ban transgenders in women’s sports. That is despite the fact that the vast majority of Americans (79% R and 67% D) support the ban. This and other Democratic policies got them soundly defeated once. Looks like they want to lose forever. Remember this, voters!

The resounding defeat of the Democrats has forced the deep state to slither behind the curtain, including 42, 44, and 46. One by one, Trump is addressing the things that the beltway bureaucrats want to keep, non-sustainable government debt, career politicians that become rich from taxpayers, and yes, the money laundering war machine of the Ukraine war. Trump said when he ran again, “They will all be exposed,” and America will be great again.

With reference to government accountability, every elected politician (including the president and vice president) should list and publish five things daily that benefit their constituents. After all, we the people pay their salaries. Golf, attending the Super Bowl or the Daytona 500 don’t count.
