So, the Cleveland Clinic is expanding its footprint in this area. Superficially, this seems like welcomed news. However, in reality, there have already been concerns. Getting a prescription renewed or requesting orders for blood work from one of these offices has been impossible because phones are not being answered. Is this the status of this segment of the medical community now? If so, the area is in trouble. Surely, the Clinic should be able to do better.

Warren’s 3rd Ward Councilman Mr. Greathouse is reaching out to residents to establish a solution for the intersection of Woodland and Genesee. This intersection has become a hotbed of accidents since the removal of the traffic light. Mr. Greathouse has ignored the request for intervention at that intersection. But NOW it’s re-election time and he wants to have a conversation and work on a solution for it. Why didn’t he work on a solution before over 20 accidents occurred there?

Trumbull County commissioners must put a lid on rampant spending, and that is exactly what the raises for the Board of Elections directors would be. Mark Alberini, Board of Elections Chairman, stated that increasing the compensation for the Director and Assistant Director to $96,000 from $71,900 is restructuring, an increase of 34%. That’s a raise. He says they will eliminate overtime and limit comp time. He is the typical politician who speaks with forked tongue and very wasteful with the taxpayer’s money. Why not take that money and hire another person in the department to eliminate the overtime? Democrats are the party of big spending.
