DEAR EDITOR:

The year was 2016, and a scandal was brewing around a trust supposedly between candidate Donald Trump and Stephanie Clifford, aka Stormy Daniels.

I remember the news reporting from the scene of the impropriety. The reporting took place outside the gate of a hotel in Beverly Hills. They even had a drone’s view of a suite Trump rented for the secret meeting.

Eight years later, a trial of historic pageantry took place in New York, dealing with Trump, Stormy and hush money. Again, the news was showing the scene of the unspeakable depravity. But now, they showed a totally different venue. They showed a hotel in the mountains near Lake Tahoe, Nevada. How could one event have happened in two different places?

My conclusion? It never happened.
