Not my senator’s son — it really is the name of a song

DEAR EDITOR:

Not my senator’s son. There is a song with that title.

With regard to the remark made by President Trump to Liz Cheney — how would she like nine guns pointed in her face and shot. What he was referring to was Liz Cheney’s status as a “War Hawk,” like her father. They started the war in the Middle East and not one of their sons or their family members were sent to war. Dick Cheney accepted draft deferments. He told the Washington Post, “I had other priorities in the ’60s than military service.”

I want to know why Democrats keep dragging out “old” politicians and the Hollywood “elite” to endorse them? Like I or anyone else would vote because Taylor Swift endorses someone.
