DEAR EDITOR:
Donald Trump, named Time magazine "Person of the Year."
Personally, with America's aging infrastructure, I would prefer to see him on the cover of Popular Mechanics -- that would be interesting.
It wouldn't be unusual to see him on the cover of Grocery Dive, Grocery News. Even though he ran on lowering food prices.
On the topic of magazines: Do you remember the song by Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show, "The cover of the Rolling Stone?" It was 1973.
"Well, we're big rock singers, we got golden fingers and we're loved everywhere we go. We sing about beauty and we sing about truth at 10,000 dollars a show.
"The thrill we've never known is the thrill that'll get ya when you get your picture on the cover of the Rolling Stone.
"We got all the friends that money can buy, so we never have to be alone. And we keep getting richer but we can't get our picture on the cover of the Rolling Stone."
