DEAR EDITOR:

Now that Donald Trump will be president, let’s clarify where our country’s economy stands at the moment.

As it stands our economy is the envy of the world. What blurs this view here in the States is the fact that the action the Biden Administration took to ease the cost of living has just begun to take effect. What bothers me is the fact that if Donald Trump follows through with what he promised he would do, all the gains our economy has made since his disastrous management of the pandemic would be for naught.

Something to think about, for the next two years at least, the Republican Party will control Trumbull County, the state of Ohio and the federal government. In Washington, D.C. This includes the House, Senate, presidency and the Supreme Court. All I can say is, America you were warned! Oh by the way America, we just elected a rapist president for the next four years. Ain’t that a kick in the shorts?
