Support of Warren City Schools levy appreciated

DEAR EDITOR:

A big thank you to the 2,479 voters who said yes to the Warren City Schools' Renewal Levy. A financial issue passing with almost 63% of votes cast shows community support at the highest level.

Also thank you to all the businesses that donated to the levy campaign and thank you to the retirees, food service, WEA members and Community Busing employees who posted over 300 levy signs on a rainy Saturday morning.

Particular thanks to the many unions and individuals (Doug Franklin, Eddie Colbert and Guy Coviello) who publicly endorsed the levy; all of whom recognize that increasing human capital is more important than increasing financial capital.
