DEAR EDITOR:
Why does the news media talk day after day about shootings at churches or schools or parks? The person who takes a life -- their mind is gone. The lights are on, no one at home.
Watch how much the media talks about it on talk shows and news outlets. See if one person talks a lot about it. Then, someone figures they will take more lives to get more recognition. The media is playing right into their hands.
The people who are killed are not coming back. So talk about it a day or so, then let it rest. Wake up.
It is funny how you never hear about shootings like this at gun ranges. Why is that? If someone tried a trick like that, they would be shot to death. So let's think about it, the place that people get killed are gun-restricted areas. In my eyes, good people don't kill. Bad people do. So, I will say this: we need more guns, not less.
It is funny how all the anti-gun people have security all around them, but they do not want you to own a water gun.
Wake up before it's too late. In the U.S., that's what keeps us safe -- the Second Amendment. I may disagree with you on many topics, but I will die for you.
You never had this until Bill Clinton was in the White House. That's when it started, with the 42nd president. They should execute a person in public. I guarantee you will see no more shootings at all.
Why not? They show everything else on TV.
