DEAR EDITOR:
I'm voting for Doug Franklin for Warren mayor again because he has run this city in an excellent manner for as long as he has served. He truly is the best choice.
Mayor Franklin pays attention to what the citizens of Warren are saying -- what they want and what they need from their mayor.
No one is perfect, but he works hard for this city that he loves. Look at the downtown turnaround. Look at all the streets that have been paved in the last five years. Look at how he responded to the bad storms we had recently. He had every department working to clean up our city.
On the other hand, Ken MacPherson is running for mayor for Warren, a statutory form of government, and he's pushing to change our city to a charter form of government. This doesn't make sense, and it is quite wishy- washy, as he's trying to appeal to both sides.
Please think before you mark your ballot. Join me and vote for Doug Franklin for mayor.
