DEAR EDITOR:
The May 2 primary election is fast approaching, and it appears that there will be a very low turnout of voters. I am writing to encourage residents of Warren, Howland, Champion and Warren Township to please exercise your right to vote.
The very important Warren Municipal Court judge seat is on the ballot, and I urge voters to pay close attention to each candidate and her background and experience. I strongly support Patty Leopardi Knepp.
Patty Leopardi Knepp has 30 years of experience as a highly-respected attorney and is the only candidate in the race who has been acting judge for the Warren Municipal Court. Her grandfather, James A. Ravella, served as Warren Municipal Judge and was re-elected many times because of his outstanding reputation. John Leopardi, her father, also had a remarkable reputation as an attorney and served as acting judge. Patty grew up and learned, by witnessing, what makes a great judge.
In addition to her remarkable experience, she has the judicial temperament and professional integrity to be a highly-respected judge. Patty is compassionate and has the moral courage to be an outstanding judge. She is kind, courteous, patient and has an extraordinary reputation for honesty, fairness and being strong, yet tender.
Please vote in the May 2 primary and please vote for honesty and integrity. Vote Patty Leopardi Knepp.
