Biden subverts law with jurist search

2 min read

DEAR EDITOR:

If our President publicly stated he was going to ensure he appointed a white male to be the next Supreme Court Justice, many of our news reporting services would be lambasting him with criticism. Yet those same news services say nothing negative about him stating he will appoint a black female. Why? Both actions are illegal within the United States labor system. Why is it viewed OK for him to get away with his illegal actions? Why are our national news services turning a blind eye to his obvious disdain for our laws -- the laws he has sworn to uphold.

Our president has sworn to uphold the Constitution of the United States and to abide by our laws, yet he has openly vowed to appoint a black female to the Supreme Court, an action that disobeys an Executive Order in a typical example of "do as I say, not as I do!" Our Department of Labor, Office of Federal Contract Compliance, is responsible for enforcing Executive Order 11246 which requires affirmative action and prohibits federal contractors from discriminating on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or national origin. The Secretary of Labor, who heads the Department of Labor, reports directly to the president of the United States. And the president reports directly to us, the people of the United States.

Executive Order 11246 basically states you should hire / appoint the "most qualified" applicant for an open position regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or national origin. To seek a candidate solely on the basis of race or sex is a violation of the Order.

His actions to do so are clearly and indisputably in violation of affirmative action. Our president is clearly not interested in finding the "most qualified" candidate; nor is he abiding by the law directly related to his illegal actions, a law he has sworn to preserve and protect.

Let's remind him of who he works for and ensure he follows the same rules he expects us to follow.
